Freshen Up with Lime Green

It's Thursday once again and I have a little remake on an antique table.  It's old and a little tired.  Had a crack on top but I thought it gave the table a little character.  I bought it at a garage sale and fell in love with the turned table legs.  Here is the before picture.

I looked thru all my paint colors and thought that a bright color would make this little table happy.  It made me happy so I painted a shade of lime green.  After it was all painted it  looked like it needed to be toned down a little bit so I painted grey paint all over it and than wiped off the excess leaving the grey in certain spots, which was along the edges and in all the grooves on the legs.  I loved the end result and protected the finish with a poly-acrylic varnish.  Here is the end result.  What do you think.....Dianne
