How About Some Music?

Hello everyone.  I'm enjoying Easter break from work.  Me and the hubby decided to take off and do some sightseeing and to seek a little bit of sunshine and warmth.  Headed down to Charleston, South Carolina.  Hopefully will find some warmer temperatures than what we have had in Michigan.  I'm leaving this little chair in the hands of one of my daughters to publish while I'm gone.  This little chair was found at an estate sale.  Just loved the back of the chair.  It is all wood.  Here is the before picture:

The chair had quite a bit of detail on it, so I thought I would have some fun with it.  I painted it white before I took the before picture.  The chair actually was a dirty stained wood that had been banged up.  Once I painted it, it looked a little boring.  I brought out my music paper and covered the seat and some of the front and part of the legs.

I wanted to show off a little bit more of the neat details of the chair, so I took some dark grey paint and painted it in all the crevices of the chair, wiped off the excess.  I took a kinda wet/dry rag and dipped into the paint and rubbed it in the inside of all the carved part of the back of the chair.  I rubbed some paint on top of the music just to darken the white pages.

So, here is my little music chair.  What do you think?
