So I painted it black and wiped all the edges of the table with a silver paint. It looked distressed but it wasn't.
Just like a black dress, the knob on the table needed a little extra bling. I had this silver earring that I took off the back and glued (E6000) it to the knob. It still needed a little bit more bling so I added another sparkly earring to the top.
So here is my little black table. Not too fancy but it would be a nice addition to any room, with just a little bling.
The chair next to the table is going to be my next project. It needs a little TLC, but the cushions are in great shape, not the wood.
So what do you think? Until next time, Dianne......

Sometimes a little black is all it takes to make a piece lovely. Love that chair, can't wait to see what you do!
ReplyDeleteDianne, you've inspired me so much with all of your furniture make overs! I'm going to give it a try this weekend starting with a pair of matching nightstands. I'm very excited! If they look as half as good as yours do, I'll be happy!
ReplyDeleteWe're going to Charleston this summer - I can't wait! I've heard only good things about it.
Take care,
Dianna
The table is great and the knob is perfect! You did a wonderful job.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
