A Little Added Bling

Good evening fellow bloggers.  It has been a while since I have blogged and Monday is not my normal day of blogging.  My daughter Jackie usually blogs on Mondays but she has been a little busy with her twins.  They are growing like crazy and I don't think the Mom knows what day it is.  They are so precious....Anyways, I'm going to tell you about a little project that I did.  I had these old bottles that I found at a garage sale and I really liked the shape of them.  They had corks in the top of the bottles and one was a little foggy in the inside.  I forgot to take the before picture but I really didn't change the outside that much.  Here are the bottles:

The shapes of the bottles are cute.  I added a little bit of bling to them by adding some jewelry pieces that were broken and they seem to fit the size of the bottles just right.
Actually the medallions hanging on the front of the bottles are actually old earrings.  I wrapped an old chain around the top of this bottle.
I added an old necklace around the top of this bottle
and around this bottle I added some of the broken pieces of the necklace around the top and topped that with a piece of old tatted lace.
I glued on all the pieces of jewelry on with E-6000 glue.  Works great and dries clear.
At the top, on the top of the old corks I added a rhinestone sequin.  Just a little bit more bling.
Here are my old bottles and I think they are really fun looking.
So, what do you think?  Better or worse?  Until next time, Dianne.......

  12. Men have always had an inclination for jewelry too, but unlike women, only a certain niche likes to wear jewelry. Designers make unisex jewelry and jewelry separately for men too. Men usually prefer solid, matt finished, rough looking jewelry in copper and iron. Choose to stock on jewelry pieces that are masculine such as chain bracelets and necklaces. Some men also like to wear studs in their ears, so retailers can also display a selective but stylish collection of these for men.
