Chicken Wire All the Way!!!!!!

Found and bought an old cabinet that was missing the glass on the sides and the front.  Jackie suggested redoing the sides and front of the cabinet with chicken wire instead of replacing the glass.  Decided to paint and shabby the cabinet up.  Forgot to take a before  picture because I was so excited to start the redo.   Love it!!!!!!

  8. hello ... new follower and glad I found your blog. Love the way you have restored this cabinet. I am in the process of saving/restoring an old, (curbside pick-up), china cabinet and was thinking about replacing the glass with chicken wire but with a full front glass door; I was not too sure, but after seeing yours, I think it will be okay. I have replaced glass or solid panels in two cabinets and I really like the look. So...thanks for sharing you great refinishing projects. I will visit often.
