Just a Coat of Paint

Good afternoon! I hope you are all having a splendid afternoon. I was just enjoying the sunshine with my daughter and absolutely LOVING it!! She is FINALLY walking around and exploring by herself and it's fun to watch it. She is getting so big! Although, I guess I shouldn't be surprised she is walking since she is 15 months, but none the less we are still excited she is finally doing it.

I found this chandelier for 5 bucks at a garage sale, I mean talk about an awesome price!! It is not vintage or an antique but I thought it was pretty. It also wasn't necessary to do anything with it since it was in such great shape, but a little color never hurt anything or anyone right? Makes it so much more appealing to the eye, or at least to my eye. I took some light blue paint and brushed it on instead of spraying it, even though spraying it would have been much easier. I loved the matted look it gave the entire piece, not so glossy. As I was brushing it on I was also wiping the paint off in places with a wet rag to give it a less perfect look. This is is how it turned out. I simply love it and hope you all do too. Thanks for reading!!
