Chalkboard on a Slice of Wood

Happy Monday!  Hope you had a wonderful weekend and a beautiful Mother's Day:)  We spent the day with both sides of our family which was nice.  I can't believe how fast time is's almost Memorial Day....which means the "official start" of summer!!  We recently bought a new travel camping trailer and we are just itching to use it for camping!!  My sisters, mom, and I are heading to a big Flea market this weekend.  I am SOOO looking forward to it!!  We always have such a great time scouring for deals and finding exclusive treasures.

I recently picked up this wood slice from Jo-Anns and decided that it would make a super cute chalkboard.....

It was such an easy peasy project!!  I simply just primed it and brushed a few coats of chalkboard paint on it.  Here is the final product....

I hope you have an enjoyable evening!
