So I have wanted to do this project for quite some time. I saw it done on another blog a long time ago, so long that it was before I had pinterest and can't quite remember where I saw it. It must have left a long lasting impression on me because I just had to try it! I had picked up about 16 mason jars at an estate sale awhile back, not quite knowing what I was going to do with them but knew that I could come up with something. So all I really needed was a board, old or new, and some pipe clamps (not really sure what they are called to be honest with you). I decided to make this using a base board out of an old house. Of course once I got the supplies I needed some assistance from my lovely husband to get the clamps onto the wood. Luckily he is so generous with his time or he wanted me off of his back he decided to put them together for me one evening. I was thrilled with the outcome, so thrilled that I will probably have these all over my house to hold tooth brushes in the bathroom, utensils in my kitchen, crafts supplies in my office, etc. The list could go on and on! :) I hope you all have a great rest of the week...thanks for stopping by!!
These are the pictures of the first one I made. I only put two mason jars on the first one. The second one has three. I like them both and they both could serve different purposes.
Below is the second one that I created out of the same base board. I put three on this time and this is going up in the office to help organize...or maybe just to put something pretty in. :)

ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome idea. Mason jars are so cute.
ReplyDeleteI just linked up to follow you...come over and try for a win of a free GOOSE CREEK candle. :)
I love mason jars so I just had to take a peek at your post. These are just so cute! These seem like something I could manage - and my husband is a building contractor so I'm sure we have those little pipe clamp thingies around here somewhere, lol. I love how you put yours on the old white washed plank. Probably could think of several uses, but just with flowers is so sweet!
