Oversized Ruler Growth Chart

Hey everyone!! Hope you are doing well:) Thanksgiving is around the corner and we are getting some cold weather around here in Michigan. I love's like the kick-off for the Holiday season!! This time of year is my absolute favorite...which I've probably mentioned a time or two:)

I recently made an oversized growth chart. I've been meaning to try and create one for awhile! One of my friends was making one and gave me the inspiration to try and create on too at the same time! It's always more enjoyable to craft with friends:) I had a decent size flat board in the I primed and painted it gray. I then pulled out my trusty 'ole cricut machine and cut out my numbers for the ruler. I decided to use a sharpie marker to try the ruler lines. I think that worked better than using vinyl strips. I then used burnt umber acrylic paint to make it appear distressed around the edges of the ruler.

Here she is finished.....I have her in our "Shabby Gals" shop just waiting for the right customer to scoop her up:)

Have a great day!
