Fire Engine Red

Hello and happy Sunday!  Hope you had a restful weekend.  We enjoyed a nice weekend and it's extended a bit with my hubby off work tomorrow.  We celebrated my niece's first birthday this past Friday's always fun to see how they will react to their cake!  She loved it and wasn't too happy when her parents took it away.  It's crazy how fast a year goes....seems like my sister just had her.  We also were lucky enough to sneak away without our son on Saturday evening and enjoy dinner at a local Mediterranean restaurant with a few good friends.  It was a good weekend.....

I found these hooks at a garage sale this past summer.  I loved the size of the hooks so I scooped them up.  The best part is that they are quite light.  In my humble opinion, I thought they would be more appealing in a more electric I gave them a coat of "Fire Engine" red.  I then glazed them with black paint to give them a bit more depth.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today and come back again soon!!!
Make it a great day!
