Charity Mirrors

Good morning!! I hope you are all enjoying your Friday thus far! Not sure about you but I am always a fan of Fridays. Today I am going to blog about a group effort by the Shabby Gals. It's always fun doing projects together because you get to chat and catch up while you work. It's also nice to get inspiration and opinions from one another.

Anyhow...this project came about because we were asked to paint and put a creative twist on some mirrors for a charitable organization. The organization is called Lacasa and they fund an event called Cinderella's Closet. I am not sure if you are at all familiar with the the event but basically it provides high school girls with formal dresses that they can afford. The girls can choose dresses off the rack for $25 as long as they vow to stay alcohol and drug free on prom night.

We thought that it would be a great opportunity to help out and support this organization by painting some mirrors for them at no cost. We hope that they are satisfied with the results. We painted them gray, antiqued and speckeled them with some black paint. We were happy to help out this charitable organization.

Here's the mirrors before.....

Here they are after.....
