Good morning everyone. It's Thursday and everyone is back to school including me. We had a beautiful summer and it looks like we will have a really nice fall. Well here is a project that actually was recreated. My husband found this industrial looking stand at a garage sale, where else? It had no top and the bottom was a little too rusty for me. Here is the before picture:
Sorry guys, I sprayed it before I took some pictures. I get a little ahead of myself sometimes. It was just the frame and I told my husband that I could see it as an end table. He added some wood on the bottom and the top of the table after it was sprayed. We stained the wood a dark stain and attached the wood to the table with some bolts. The wood was distressed before we stained and we attached the top of the table with some bolts so it looked industrial looking. Here are the after pictures:
We brought the table up to the cottage and it looks fun in front of the wood wall. The table is nice and heavy and is not going to slide all over the floor. We were pleased with the final result, what about you? Til next time, Dianne.......

That does look really nice, great fix up! Thanks for linking at printabelle!
ReplyDeleteI love it. Looking at things 'outside the box' is the way to go! So many things are thrown away when they could be re-used in some way. Well done.
ReplyDeleteIt's cute and functional! Love it!
