I found these pieces of over-sized silverware at a garage sale last summer. I just think they are fun...and I know Pottery Barn used to sell them. I am not sure they still do....but when they did, they were quite expensive. Here's my find.....
I thought it would be neat to make them look like actual pieces of silverware. I happened to have a can of brushed nickel spray paint....so that's what I used.
Here they are.....I love them. They add a bit of character to my kitchen!!!

Amazing you made your's look like real silverware!
ReplyDeleteI had some I painted black... which I love. But I had a wood one similar to your's...and painted them black too, and sanded them down a little. The thing about these pieces... you can make them fit any style! I remember these when they were "IN" back in the day. I know telling my age. Ssshhh!
love yours in your kitchen. They looks so great!
