Little Update...Big Impact

Happy Tuesday!  Hope you are well.... I am trying really hard to get into the swing of things again.  My babies are officially eight weeks old!  I can hardly believe they are that old already...it goes so fast.  They are starting to smile and coo and become more interactive, which makes it so much fun:)  We've had a few hiccups around here with me not feeling well for a few weeks and dealing with sick kids.  I am absolutely looking forward to spring and getting out and enjoying the fresh air!!!

I redid this lamp this past summer and I thought I would share this project with you.  I found this little lamp at a garage sale.  Cute right?

I decided to give the base a fresh coat of red paint.....I just thought it needed a little updating.  I think the red jazzed it up a bit:)  Now it sits on my son's bookcase in his room along with his prized Red Wings bobble head statue:)

What do you think?  Better before or better after?  Sometimes just a little update....can give a big impact!!
