A Step Up......

Happy Friday everyone......Here we go again.  I'm really into the color aqua and have been painting everything I find with this color.  Had found this old beat up 3 step ladder at a garage sale.  It was pretty sad looking but I thought it had possibilities.  Here is the before picture:

So I had some fun and painted aqua paint all over it and it looked so cheery right away and not so beat up.I put some graphics on the steps from Graphic Fairy, but I ripped the edges so they would soften into the wood and look a little old.  Than I wiped my favorite antiquing paint, burnt umber all over and wiped off the excess until I got the desired result.  I kinda left more paint on the edges and in the cracks.  Here is what it ended up looking like:

So again, what do you think?  It would be a fun conversation end table or in a bathroom holding little extras. Until next time, Dianne.......................

  4. Came over from Primp. I adore these little ladders and snap them up whenever I can find them. They are useful as book shelves and for craft supplies, but I really love them in the garden holding plants. I crave yours - the beautiful color and the graphics are great!
