My new favorite color

Hi all!! I think summer is here, or at least right around the corner. Today was gorgeous. It was around 80 with a light breeze and not a cloud in the sky! Absolutely beautiful! It's hard not to smile on a day like today.

Anyhow enough about the weather. I have taken a break from blogging for a few weeks. I guess not intentionally but this spring the weeks just flew bye and I wasn't able to catch up. So I am going to start up again with a project that was really fun for me because I got to try the famous chalk paint (not just stuff that I made). It was a little different consistency to work with but I liked it. I used this beautiful coral color. I can't wait to use it on more projects. So this is the before and after. On the finished product I might have gone a little crazy with the sander but that's how I like my pieces to look, a little rough. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!!
