Updated Candlesticks

Happy Labor Day!  I hope you enjoyed your last weekend of summer:)  I seriously cannot believe summer is just went by way too fast!!  Tomorrow I am sending my baby off to Kindergarten and am feeling quite anxious about it...I hope he's all smiles tomorrow because I'll be sure to hide my nerves:)  We enjoyed our last weekend of summer at my parent's camp.  My son had a wonderful time with his cousins swimming and boating!  It was a great last hurrah for summer:)

I found these boring candlesticks at a garage sale this past spring.  I really loved the shape of the candlesticks they just needed a bit more color.

I gave these a coat of primer followed by a shade of mint green paint.  I then rubbed some gold paint on the candlesticks.  I love the color combination of these two colors.

I hope you have a great week!  If you're sending any kiddos off to school....I hope it all goes well!!!
