An Old Box with a little Bling
Good morning! It's Thursday and a very nice day here in Michigan. I'm home from our camp and trying to get a few things organized and cleaned. Found this old partitioned wood box at an estate sale and thought it looked kinda of old and interesting. I didn't really want to paint the whole box because I liked the grayness of the wood but I still wanted a little color. Here is a picture of the box but I had already painted a little kilz paint in the inside.
The box is definitely old and you can see the cracks and old nails in the wood.
I wanted to clean up the inside to keep things cleaner in the box, so I decided on a few fun colors to paint the inside with.
I painted up the sides of the inside of the box and all the boxes. I choose a lavender, aqua, a celery green and a pink. Kinda of girl's colors but I think it works.
As you can see it is old, look at the big cracks on the bottom of the box.
How do you like this box, better or should I have left it alone? Until next time, Dianne..........

This looks lovely! It's great to be able to rescue old treasures and make them your own. The pastel colours are so pretty.
