Lil' Pink Birdcage

Good evening...hope everyone had a great Tuesday.  It was a beautiful day here in Michigan....as we spent most of it by the pool.  I feel like it doesn't get much better than that!  I found this little bird cage at a yard sale.  I saw some potential in it and quickly scooped it up.

I thought it would look cute all dolled up in pink....so I cleaned it up and sprayed a couple coats of paint.  Here's the after picture....I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening!

  2. sweet!

i'd probably do something traditional like setting a plant inside ... maybe a little asparagus fern that would grow like crazy out the sides ...

or i'd do something ornery like filling it to the brim with something i'd collected. Like wine corks or ping pong balls.
    or a string of lights.

    you have me thinkin' ....

  4. Yes, pink is awesome! I just spray painted my mom's birdcage she found at a sale. We are hanging it outside but I'm still dilly dallying about whether to add to it or leave as is, white with rust showing through....ahhh decisions! Come visit me!

  5. I love how simple this project was and yet it left you with a great result that is dramatically different from the original. So much cuter. Found this post at Show and Tell Saturday.
